Each city has information in the cities description, this is located just under the name of the city, however, in each city there will be a board called
Map of [City Name]
this is a very important map, each map is customized with outposts and so on, the layouts used for the maps are pretty self explanatary when you see them, only things you must remember are...
Outposts - Outposts are used for battles only, as each city is routed, there will be an outpost for each route which is connected to the city your looking at, some cities will obviously have more outposts then others.
How to use outposts - well this is automatic, an outpost is a set supplyment for a battle, for instance am attacking Wu from Hui Ji, there will be only two outposts, Jian Ye, located north of the city and Hui Ji located south of the city. each outpost is named, so people know which outpost belongs to which city, if Jian Ye is under your control, and you've asked for reinforcements, if for instance i was to take that outpost before the set time of your reinforcements, their route would be sealed, causing them to retreat automatically
how to destory outposts - there are three main ways to destory an outpost, the first is using your usual units, this will take a minimum of 3 posts, and a maximum of 10 posts depending on what unit ur attacking it with. Then theres using seige weapons, this takes 3 posts, no less, no more and then theres finally using ploys, now the ploy has to be a success, like a fire attack, whenever a battle takes place wind directions, wind strengths will be chosen, these wont benefit any army, for they'll always pointed in another direction to start with.
Adavantages of Outposts - now outposts have only 2 advantages, if you own a few of them you get reinforcements, but also, after every 5 turns, meaning, when all members have 5 posts each, then whomever has an outpost can either supply you with troops *healing affects* and supplies. If you lose an outpost it becomes a neutral post, but after the battle, it'll turn back into a supply route
