HAND-TO-HAND INFANTRY TYPES
Peasants-500 for 50g
A-1 D-1
S-6 Ran-1
The weakest unit, peasants are untrained. However, they do move quickly. They are dangerous in numbers, but weak, nonetheless. They are equipped with foot-long blades. Having no armor, they can run really quickly.
Strong Against: Nothing, only effective in numbers.
Weak Against: Everything.
Special Move: Overwhelming everything.
Assassins-200 for 400g
A-3 D-2
S-8 Ran-2
Assassins are fairly weak units, but are incredibly quick. Best used for things such as ambushes. They are equipped with two-foot long blades. They can run as quickly as Heavy Calvery, making them a nightmare, in ways.
Strong Against: Heavy Calvary/Anything, as long as it's by suprise.
Weak Against: Everything.
Special Move: Ambushing from out of nowwhere in the enviroment.
Light Swordmen-250 for 150g
A-3 D-3
S-4 Ran-3
Light swordsmen are definetly stronger then peasants, but they are still among the weaker units. They carry 3-foot long blades, but are lightly armored. They carry small shields.
Strong Against: Archers of any type.
Weak Against: Calvary of any type.
Special Move: Weak-type of phanlax manuever.
Swordmen-250 for 300g
A-4 D-4
S-3 Ran-3
Even more armored then light swordsmen, they are far superior in strength, but are lacking in speed. They carry medium sized shields. Equipped with three-foot swords.
Strong Against: Archers of any type.
Weak Against: Calvary of any type.
Special Move: Strong version of phanlax manuever.
Heavy Swordmen-250 for 600g
A-5 D-5
S-2 Ran-3
The Heavy Swordsmen is hard to contend with. They are not as quick as everyone else, but they don't have to worry about such things when they have so much armor. Their shields are large, but they have a lot of endurance. Equipped with three-foot swords.
Strong Against: Archers of any type.
Weak Against: Calvary of any type.
Special Move: A superior version of the phanlax formation.
2 Handed Swordmen-250 for 350g
A-6 D-3
S-3 Ran-4
Still wearing a lot of armor, but giving up their shields, two-handed swordsmen are a tough one to beat in terms of hand-to-hand combat. They tote 4-foot swords.
Strong Against: hand-to-hand units of any type.
Weak Against: Archers, calvary, and spearmen of any type.
Special Moves: hacking through infantry, even if they hit the shields, it'll cause a lot of impact shock on the arms.
SPEARMEN TROOPS TYPES
Spearmen-500 for 350g
A-5 D-4
S-4 Ran-5
Spearmen are a superior type of fighter when it comes to fighting in medium range. Without a shield, they are a quick sort of force, capable of killing calvary-type units with ease. With infantry, they still have an advantage, but can be made almost useless if fighting against a unit with a shield.
Strong Against: Calvary of any type, unshielded infantry.
Weak Against: Archers, shielded infantry.
Pikemen-500 for 500g
A-7 D-6
S-2 Ran-5
Superior in many ways except for speed, the pikemen are often the infantry unit of choice. They can easily stop calvary charges, and make most forces cow. They don't have any real weaknesses, but they do tie when pitted against two-handed swordsmen.
Strong Against: Everything
Weak Against: Nothing
Equal To: 2-handed swordsmen
Special Moves: Ultimate version of phanlax formation.
