GUARD SWORDSMEN
Guards-250 for 550g

Guards are the basic guard units with a medium sized circle shield and two-foot blades. They are the worst enemies of assassins as they are highly trained in guarding specific people. They are the best when it comes to fighting in the field in hand-to-hand combat, being an even match for the two-hand swordsmen. Their superior speed on the battlefield compared to most hand-to-hand units are amazing.
Strong Against: All Archers and Infantry Units
Weak Against: All spearmen-type units and all calvary type Units.
Special Move: Shield defend or quick side-step, followed up by a quick slash.
Imperial Guards-500 for 600g

Imperial Guards are an imppressive defensive unit type that has superior attacks for their larger weapons, allowing them to beat normal Guards with relative ease, as Imperial Guards wear the same amount of armor, have the same shield, but tote around a three-foot long blade.
Strong Against: All Archers and Infantry Units
Weak Against: All spearmen-type units and all calvary type Units.
Special Move: Shield defend or quick side-step, followed up by a quick slash.
GUARD SPEARSMEN
Elite Guards- 500 for 750g

Elite Guards are a spear-type guard. They can best both the imperial guard and the regular guard not by speed, but by their power alone. They carry around 4 foot spears, giving them easy movement with a smaller, but still effective shield.
Strong Against: All archers, calvary and infantry type units.
Weak Against: All calvary and slightly by archer type units.
Equal Against: Pikemen
Special Move: Phanlax Formation.
Nanman Armor Troops-450 for 600g

The Nanman Armor Troops are incrediblely defended warriors. Because of their armor combination of both metal and wood, they are all but invincible against archer attacks, unless they use fire arrows. Swords will often get stuck in their armor. Because of their three foot spears, they are able to attack calvary and retain some of their agility in battle. Their armor does weigh them down a bit.
Strong Against: All calvary, infantry (not counting spearmen), and calvary type units.
Weak Against: Fire
Special Move: They can run into an enemy arrow attack and come out of it unhindered unless fire was attached.
